Missed Week

Well I missed this week's Monday Made It. We ended up having to go to visit my Hubby's mom this last weekend because she had hip surgery. They only gave her a weeks notice, but we are glad she got the hip replacement. After a rough first day she is doing much better though.  I've got some things I like to do just have to get them done. On my list are READ letters, a door decoration, and other various things. Hopefully this weekend I can get some done. I will be glad to stay indoors to beat the heat. :)

Ok so I am trying to get the link work to reply directly to each comment. I seem to be having trouble, all my settings are right and I had a code but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else have this problem??
P.S. If I get two more followers, I'm going to try and do my first giveaway!

Monday Made It #3!!!

I love Mondays because of Monday Made it!!! I just love crafting and seeing everything that others have created.

This week I made a clip system for ride Changes. I believe I first saw this over at the Polka Dot Patch! Such a great idea for rides that change throughout the year! ( For some reason it keeps putting it sideways...)
Daily 5 Clip Chart. If there are no owls left then they have to choose a different activity.

Word wall letters. I have to do the words still but it's a start.
Then I did a few things for calendar time.

I know when I get a classroom I'll be ready. In the meantime I am enjoying creating and crafting :D

Monday Made It

Alright so it's week 2 of Monday Made it with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics!

I've been seeing all the awesome teacher toolboxes floating around the blogging world so I decided to make my own. I went on Amazon and found one that was a little bit of a different style:

I got red because I thought it would look awesome and stand out. However, as I started I decided I didn't like the red. My solution: Paint it! Then I added drawer labels.

I love it so much better now! I think the red was too bold for me. I've also decided I'm going to use an owl theme in the room so I added some owls to the side! I love the graphics by Pixel Paper Prints: Check out the Etsy store here.

Hope y'all link up too! I love seeing all the great projects!!

***********So I've had a few people ask where I got the container. I bought it off amazon but you can also get them at home depot, lowes, kmart etc... They run about $20. As for the lettering I used digital scrapbook paper and typed in text over the digital scrapbook paper( the bright poka dots are from Dreamlike Magic on Etsy) I used the font Elephants in Cherry Trees for the words. I used mod-podge to stick the labels on.  It really wasn't bad at all!  After using it for a year I still love it and it held up great. I could always find what I needed!**********

Currently and June Birchbox!

I'm joining up with Farley at Oh'Boy in 4th for the June currently. I know I'm a little late ;)

I am loving my summer so far even though I babysit kids. They enjoy going to the pool just about every day! Such a great job! As you see haven't heard from schools yet. I've talked to the principal at my school (still waiting) and applied to other districts and email principals, just no luck yet. I'm really hoping it works out, but I'm just so nervous that I might not be able to get one!!!  My wish is to go to Australia! Someday.....I just got back from the Florida Keys so that was my big trip for the summer, but now I'm ready for another one!

I also received my June Birchbox today! I absolutely am loving it, this is my third month and I'm always excited for new products!
This month I received: I sample of cologne for my hubby (in honor of Father's Day), Self tanner, eye color, lip/cheek color, stylized travel sized zip lock bag, and moisturizer for my face. I can't wait to try everything out! If you haven't heard of Birchbox or tried it yet check it out here. It's only $10 a month! Love it!

Craftiness and My Favorite Things Linky

Hello bloggers it's been awhile! Well school has been out for 2 weeks now. Last week I finally got to go on the honeymoon with the hubs! It was so much needed because I've been stressing over a job. I've gone back in and talked to the principal at a school but still nothing and I haven't heard from another district. It's frustrating and I'm hoping it just works out!!

Here is a picture from the beautiful keys! We hated to come back home!

Besides watching kids and honeymooning I have started a few projects to get my mind off things. I just hope I get to use them next year!!!

EDIT Just saw that Tara at 4th Grade Frolics is having a

Here is a table that someone discarded at the end of last year, I saved it and redid it. Here are the before and after pictures:

I also found some cheap wastebaskets at Goodwill and revamped them (I forgot to take before pictures)

Lastly I found a plastic treasure box at Walmart. I decided it was a little plain so I added some pizazz

I'm going to see what else I can make this summer. I'm in a crafty mood thanks to Pinterest and I actually have some time!

Now I'm going to try and join a Linky party, hopefully I do it right.  Mary from Sharing Kindergarten is having a
