A little bit of everything

Woohoo! Finally figured out how to convert to a pdf. However....now I am stuck on how to add that document to my post. I have a few things I am willing to share just have to figure out how to do it. I am learning as I go so thanks for bearing with me :D

Here are some great ideas and activities that I have been doing with my classes.

We made Penguin Addition from Erica Boher's blog. We let the kids design their own penguins and it turned out great!

Here is our 100th day Pizza! I can't remember where I originally saw this but please let me know so I can give credit. The kids had a great time making the pizza!

For Our Super Bowl Day we made field charts where we had to add on 10 more to see where our team needed to be to make a first down.

Then I participated in the Valentine exchange. Check out all the fun

I participated in the blogger exchange as well as the classroom exchange with both of my classes. I forgot to snap a picture of my gift when it arrived, but sweet Ali from What Happens in Kindergarten...Lasts a Lifetime, but she sent me some OPI nail polish and twix (which are already gone...) Look at the great color!
My partner was Lisa Alredge from Live, Laugh, and Love to Learn. I made her a treat jar for all the sweets and a post it holder. Of course I also filled the treat jar with her favorite sweet :D

Both of my classes made butterfly magnets for our Valentine partners with a special treat. They absolutely loved having an exchange!

My first class was partnered up with the wonderful Cheryl from Crayons and Curls. They made us heart men with a cute story about how they were created. If you want to learn how to make them check out Cheryl's post.

Then the awesome Tammy Klinger from Klinger's Cafe was the Valentine exchange partner for my other class. We received a package that said open this end and dump out... To our surprise our floor was flooded with hearts to go with our book "The day it rained hearts" They also wrapped themselves in paper and sent themselves to us. I know they worked super hard on the hearts because there were so many of them! Of course after we read the book we had to make it "rain" hearts that the kids could catch ;) I wish we could have gotten a picture because they just had a ball with this!

Finally in pictures I decided it was time for a new door. I wanted the door to last so I went with Dr. Seuss....and I mean who doesn't love Dr. Seuss??? After creating my door I helped a neighbor on her Dr. Seuss door. They turned out great!

On a side note, I had my first wedding shower and loved it! His family was so sweet to me. I can't believe the wedding is just over a month away!!! I feel like there is so much to do but not much time. :D

Thanks if you stuck with me to the end of this post. I promise I'll post some freebies as soon as I figure it out!
