Craftiness and My Favorite Things Linky

Hello bloggers it's been awhile! Well school has been out for 2 weeks now. Last week I finally got to go on the honeymoon with the hubs! It was so much needed because I've been stressing over a job. I've gone back in and talked to the principal at a school but still nothing and I haven't heard from another district. It's frustrating and I'm hoping it just works out!!

Here is a picture from the beautiful keys! We hated to come back home!

Besides watching kids and honeymooning I have started a few projects to get my mind off things. I just hope I get to use them next year!!!

EDIT Just saw that Tara at 4th Grade Frolics is having a

Here is a table that someone discarded at the end of last year, I saved it and redid it. Here are the before and after pictures:

I also found some cheap wastebaskets at Goodwill and revamped them (I forgot to take before pictures)

Lastly I found a plastic treasure box at Walmart. I decided it was a little plain so I added some pizazz

I'm going to see what else I can make this summer. I'm in a crafty mood thanks to Pinterest and I actually have some time!

Now I'm going to try and join a Linky party, hopefully I do it right.  Mary from Sharing Kindergarten is having a

  2. Hi Linda!

I'm happy to have found your blog!! I LOVE the pizazz of your classroom storage containers! I think my classroom needs a bit more color and excitement...possibly a reason to buy more fun storage *much to the chagrin of my principal...oops*

    Hoppy summer vacation to you!!

  8. That little table is SO cute! I love how it turned out!

I really hope you hear back about a job soon! I applied to somewhere like 60 positions last year before I even heard back from one- but once I heard from my current place for an interview, things moved quickly- so I hope the same will happen for you!
