New sign

So my husband has had a vinyl cutter for awhile now and I haven't really used it until now. I decided to create a sign for my door.

First I took some canvas and created a chevron pattern. I forgot to take a picture but I criss crossed the painters tape and then took an exacto to cut the parts of the tape I didn't need.

Then after the paint dried I cut out the letters with the vinyl. It was a little tricky to get them to stick. I found I had to use mod-podge to get it to completely stick. (Also you will see I am missing a letter. I messed it up and went back down to the shop to cut a new one and the computer had died! So we are working on getting a new one set up)
