Monday Made it #6

It's Monday and it's time for another Monday Made it over at 4th Grade Frolics!

This week I have made two things. First my READ letters that I have seen around the blogging world. I used digital scrapbook paper from Dreamlike Magic on Etsy an mod podge to attach the paper (love that stuff!). About the bumps and mod podge. You can get those if you don't smooth the paper and let it dry a minute. Sometimes it'll bump but when it dries it smooths itself out.

So my next project is inspired by Scentos Markers:

I mean have you seen them???? They are so cute and smell wonderful! I can not wait to use them in the classroom, I didn't want to just stick them in a drawer because they are meant to be seen. So I've been looking for the perfect holder but haven't found one. So while at Hobby Lobby I picked up some small pieces of wood, painted it, cut it and decorated and tada!:

Can't wait to set this little guy in the classroom. It just makes me smile. Even the hubs kinda liked it :)

And don't forget I have my 50 followers giveaway where I'm designing a Welcome banner for the winner!

  8. I need to make these! I have heard that some people have problems with the modge podge and the paper not laying right. I guess you didn't have any problems, so that should be my cue to leave this chair and go!

    Great ideas!
